A publisher causes a furore – Furore Verlag celebrates its 25th anniversary

At the time it was a sensation: in 1986 business woman, Renate Matthei, from Kassel in Germany founded a music publishing house which was dedicated exclusively to music and books written by and about women from various centuries. Her ambitious company has been extremely successful and in 2011 Furore will celebrate its 25th anniversary.

The 25-year anniversary in 2011 is a good opportunity to introduce the furore composers of different eras. The composers and their works are presented in 25 concerts from January to December 2011.

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary we have edited two anniversary editions:
