Countess Caroline von Egloffstein (1789–1868) grew up in Weimar, knew Goethe from her childhood, and performed in court theater productions.

Sophie-Carmen Eckhardt-Gramatté

Die Komponistin, Pianistin und Violinistin Sophie-Carmen Eckhardt-Gramatté wurde am 6. Januar 1899 als Sophie-Carmen de Fridman in Moskau geboren. Nach ersten Jahren in England wurde sie von ihrer Mutter mit nach Paris genommen, wo sie dank ihrer außerordentlichen musikalischen Begabung früh am Pariser Konservatorium Unterricht erhielt und bereits mit elf Jahren zu konzertieren begann.

Frederikke Egeberg
* 1815 in Oslo † 1861 in Tønsberg
Although the education of Frederikke Egeberg, born on 23 November 1815 in Christiana (now Oslo), was intermitted, she was the most distiguished Norwegian woman composer before Agathe Grøndahl. Her compositions show formal and harmonic assurance allied to melodic imagination. Among many piano pieces she published more than 50 songs, many of which have survived in print to the present day. She also wrote many piano pieces. Frederikke Egeberg died on 6 May 1861 in Tønsberg.

Susanne Erding Swiridoff

Nach dem Studium der Schulmusik und Komposition bei Milko Kelemen an der Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik in Stuttgart legte sie 1977 ihr Staatsexamen in den Fächern Anglistik, Amerikanistik und Dramentheorien an der Universität Stuttgart ab und 1981 das Diplom in Komposition in München.

Siegrid Ernst
* 03.03.1929 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein
Sigrid Ernst was born on 3.3.1929 in Ludwigshafen/Rhine, grew up in a musically very interested family. Her piano lessons begun at the age of 7 and were completed by lessons in violin and music theory later on. After her final school exams music studies in Heidelberg, Frankfurt and Vienna with piano as main instrument as well as composition studies with Gerhard Formell for six years followed.
