The duo makes use of the melodic gamut and noise effects produced by various recorders and the abundant rhythmic and timbral possi-bilities of percussion instruments. The composition makes occasional use of both directed and free improvisation, consciously opening itself to the personal imagination and playfulness of the interpreters. Can be performed with or without timpani. Moderately difficult to difficult.
