German Music Council honors Furore publisher Renate Matthei
The members of the German Music Council appointed Renate Matthei as an honorary member at the 2021 general meeting. Renate Matthei and her “Furore-Verlag” campaign for the publication of sheet music and books by female composers. The laudation for Renate Matthei was given by the composer Dr. Charlotte Seither.
Prof. Martin Maria Krüger, President of the German Music Council, at the ceremony: “A strong network for music requires strong personalities with great goals and ideals.
