Art Meets Composition 7 is a new - now the seventh - project by Nuremberg-based Japanese pianist/composer Takako Ono, and this concert received a project grant from the German government Culture and Media /GVL Berlin. This time also the premiere of her string orchestra work "beyond the aurora". The programme focuses on the orchestral work "5Elements" for piano and orchestra Op.31, inspired by Buddhist philosophy. It shows the existence of earth, water, fire, wind and the life journey of the soul to the gates of heaven. The premiere of the ensemble work "Alstroemeria" is also planned.
