"Serenade for a melancholic sea" Works by Lera Auerbach and Clara Schumann The Triple Concerto by the contemporary composer Lera Auerbach (*1973) is the focus of the concert evening. Today she enjoys an international reputation. She has won awards not only as a composer, but also as a conductor, pianist, painter, sculptor and writer. Her compositions have been performed by orchestras such as the Munich Philharmonic, the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, and others. To mark its tenth anniversary, the Central Swiss Youth Symphony Orchestra (ZJSO) is paying Hamburg’s Felix Mendelssohn Youth Orchestra a visit.
