The comic, humourous and lively piece Boogie is from the eighth scene of Olga Magidenkoʼs opera Medea. It is the dance of the priestess in the Temple of Athena. Various methods are used to imitate percussion instruments, such as the sound of knocking on the lid of the piano, plucking the piano strings, clapping and stamping.
