Description
The work has a length of 5 minutes and was composed in summer 2022.
It was commissioned by Pierre Henri Xuereb and is dedicated to him.
During the premiere, the oldest Chinese instrument was also heard: the guqin, which plays in a pentatonic universe.
The one-movement work Chant also moves in a pentatonic and very melodic colour.
