Description
The works presented here are arrangements of the harpsichord sonatas in A major (fue 104118) and E major by Marianna Martines, composer of the Viennese classical period and student of Joseph Haydn, for violin, violoncello and piano. Both works were premiered in the new instrumentation on October 4, 2022, as part of the chamber music series “Discovery Cycle 2021” organized by Instituto Cervantes at the Palais Wiener von Welten in Vienna.
