These are songs of loneliness, rising from archaic depths, from where they gain their strong expressive-ness. The music is psalmodizing and imploring and becomes a passionate lament, a turmoil of the soul, an intimate, almost autistic psychograph. Ostinato rhythms played by bongos and gongs of different pitch, tremolos and calm pulsations of wood blocks as well as playful and scherzando elements are surrounding this wonderful vocal nerve music.
