„Noch …“ (Still) (2021)
for guitar solo and for soprano and guitar
a poem by Rose Ausländer, was the inspiration for the two works „Noch …“ (still), which were created for a concert project by guitarist Stefan Barcsay. A work for guitar solo, which translates the idea of the text wordless and lyrically sensitive into sound; which gives space for own images and colors.
And a song that allows the text to sing, a singing, simple and almost like a folk song, unstrained little cantilenas that underline the hope of the text.
Both works are musically different, only the first motif of both is related, thus recalling in the solo guitar work the beginning of the text.
