This restrained, poetically dreamy and melancholy composition contains a classically extended
arrangement of the Gotlandic folk song “Allt under himmelens fäste”.
Stjernara is a composition of medium difficulty that can be incorporated very nicely into chamber music concert programmes and song recitals. In addition, it is of particular interest to devotees of Swedish music. An alternative choice of ensemble, with soprano saxophone instead of the traverse flute or the voice, is also conceivable and has been added to this edition.
