The work based on the lines of Virgil, was composed in 1964 for the wonderful voice of Dragoslava Nikolic. Although The Enchanteress is enchanting in many ways, it was not performed on the occasion of the 2000th anniversary of Virgil’s death. The organizers probably forgot about the composition. It is to be hoped that it will be performed on the next such occasion – in a thousand years time… (L. Maric)
