The cello reveals on the part of the composer a sound knowledge of the solo instrument. This is already evident in the beautiful theme of the first of Tre Momenti – tightly composed. A rarity that flatters your ears and makes everybody sit up.
The Italian composer wrote works for orchestra and choir, many songs and a lot of chamber music with a great preference for the human voice and string instruments. She was awarded various composition prizes such as the “Premio Quartetto Veneziano”, the “Premio Circolo Universitario” and the “Concorso International de Compositoras H. Rubinstein” Buenos Aires.
In 1969, she was offered a professorship for composition and music theory at the Verdi Conservatory in Turino. There she taught up her emeritus status in 1983.
