The trio has three movements: the first movement is moderate, the cello introduces an incisive theme which will be developed by the violin and the piano. The 2nd movement presents an unique theme which exploit the sounds of the soloists. The final is compo-sed of two rhythmical and contrasted the-mes. The work is written as an homage to Robert Schumann.
