Once again the composer sets Dagmar Nick’s poetry to music. Her dream of writing a Christmas cycle came true in 2017 when she received the poem “The Birth of Christ” as a Christmas greeting from a mutual friend, the alto Constance Heller. She found further gems
amongst the poet’s extraordinarily rich work, now united in “Weihnachten verwundert”.
