Mondgeflüster is featured twice in this issue: once for tenor and bass recorder and once for voice flute and bass recorder. Since the voice of the voice flute is transposed, optically irritating intervals would result together with the humming voice. That is
why the humming voice was also transposed here, which has to be hummed half a tone higher when this piece is performed. Diana Čemerytė
When I introduced Diana Čemerytė to various recorders, she was particularly fascinated by the timbre of the voice flute and the bass recorder. She composed Mondgeflüster alternately for these two instruments. Alternatively, instead of the voice flute, an interpretation on a tenor recorder is also possible. Here the piece sounds in the same register, albeit with a slightly different tonal character.
