Justina Jaruševičiūtė is a Lithuanian composer living in Berlin, Germany. After receiving her Bachelor‘s degree in Sound Design and Engineering from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and working for two years as a manager and organizer of classical music concerts at the Klaipeda Concert Hall, Justina Jaruševičūtė moved to Berlin in 2018, where she has since devoted herself entirely to composing. In February 2020, she released Rituals, a piece for strings inspired by Baltic mythology, folk music and nature. A year later, she released her debut album Silhouettes on Piano and Coffee Records and received positive responses from some of the most important contemporary classical music magazines. One of Justina‘s pieces was performed by the Klaipeda Chamber Orchestra in Klaipeda, Lithuania, in January 2021 and the premiere concert of her album „Silhouettes“ was performed by the Echo Collective in Potsdam in April 2022. In June 2022 Justina released a piece for cello and violin „Into the Deep“ at Berlin label 7K‘s compilation „String Layers vol. II“.
