Leorah Pitts is a composer, pianist and violist born in Switzerland. She grew up in different countries, which exposed her to different cultures and musical styles that can be heard in her compositions and arrangements, performed and recorded by professionals and students alike. Among them a piano concerto played by the women’s string orchestra “Zmora”, Israel (2019). Her repertoire spans in style from classical to jazz and pan-tonal music. Recently, has been researching the partimenti method from the 17th century, Naples. In 2022 she graduated from Levinsky College with a B.A. in music education, specializing in piano. She is currently studying at the Jerusalem academy for music and dance (2023), based in Israel.
